Your Motherhood Superpower is...
Nurturing Energy

As a Nurturing Momma you've turned your natural gifts of love, generosity and care, towards your family.

Your children frequently come to you to share what's going on with them, knowing that you're a great listener and that family is your #1 priority.

You're a rock-star at dealing with the unpredictability of motherhood - a kid who wakes up with a nightmare in the night, or a phone-call to pick up a sick child at school doesn't phase you.

You may even have a higher tolerance for kid-mess than some of the other mothers you know.

Along with the warmth and support that you offer up daily to your family, they know that they can count on you to help them through thick and thin.

I see you sister - you are a rockstar momma!! Here’s the thing though, sometimes you find yourself giving so much that you're on the brink of overwhelm and exhaustion.

Your kids will benefit from having a mother who models how to take care of herself just as well as she takes care of her family!

"“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.”

- Lucille Ball

How to harness your Nurturing Energy to up-level your home...

1. Recognize Your Needs

No one is better than you at recognizing when your partner or kids need some love and attention! Now it's time to turn some of your compassionate attention towards yourself, and start noticing what you need too.

  • Do you need to rock out to your own music and not constantly be listening to Baby Shark?
  • Do you need to move your body faster than you've been able to do with kids in tow?
  • Do you need to get out in nature alone so you can hear yourself think?

Your needs are important! And the first step in getting your needs met and being a happier, more resourced momma, is simply to take the time to notice what it is that you need.

Write down 5 things you need that you aren't getting that would contribute to your overall wellbeing.

2. Prioritize Self-Care

One of the kindest things you can do for your kids, your partner, and yourself is regularly scheduling in self-care.

Whether it’s a relaxing lavender-scented bath or a half an hour jogging, journaling, or being in nature, giving yourself space to clear out stagnant energy and revitalize yourself allows you to show up 100% with your family afterwards.

Even though it can feel hard to pull yourself away from the needs of your family, the payoff is HUGE! Go take care of yourself today! Your family will thank you for it.

3. Stop comparing

Remember that perfection is an illusion. Never compare your messy, real life to other people's "picture perfect" posts on social media.

If you do find yourself comparing, make a list of 5-10 things you did well today and celebrate the heck out of your successes!
