Neurodiversity Family Coaching Program

Personalized, neurodiversity-affirming coaching to help you create a family life where your child can thrive.

If you’re parenting a neurodivergent child and everything feels harder than it should, you don’t need more generic advice.

You need personalized support that will help you understand your child more deeply, make sense of what’s happening at home, and create a plan that actually fits your family.

Maybe you’ve already tried therapies, charts, consequences, school meetings, and endless problem-solving. But you still feel stuck in the same cycles of stress, conflict, and self-doubt.

That’s where Neurodiversity Family Coaching comes in. This is individualized coaching for parents who want a thoughtful, values-aligned process and a real partnership in figuring out what comes next for your neurodivergent child and the whole family.

What is Neurodiversity Family Coaching?

Neurodiversity Family Coaching is a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach that helps parents of neurodivergent kids — including Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, PDA, gifted, and 2e children — create flexible family lives and make educational and parenting choices that truly fit their child.

Instead of trying to force your child into one-size-fits-all systems, we work together to understand your child’s nervous system, their needs, their strengths, and the patterns that keep your family stuck.

My role is to help you move from confusion to clarity, from constant reacting to more grounded decision-making, and from survival mode to a family rhythm that feels sustainable.

Is this you?

This coaching may be a good fit if:

You feel exhausted by the daily stress of parenting your neurodivergent child.

You and your child keep getting stuck in the same arguments.

You’re unsure how to support your child without controlling everything.

You want help thinking through school, routines, boundaries, or education.

You want a coach who sees your child as a whole person, not a problem to fix.

What We Do In Our 12 Months Together

Understand your child’s neurotype, needs, strengths and interests

We’ll explore:

  • Your child’s nervous system: what overwhelms them, what regulates them, and what their behaviors are really communicating.

  • Their genuine strengths, passions and capacities — beyond deficit-based reports.

  • The patterns that are keeping everyone stuck (masking, burnout cycles, constant conflict).

So you can stop asking “What’s wrong with them?” and start asking “What do they need, and how can we build our life around that” so that we can all thrive?

STAGE 1

Redesign your family life beyond one-size-fits-all systems

Once we understand what’s really going on, we redesign your family life around what actually fits.

We look at what is and isn’t working, how school or other systems are affecting your child, their wellbeing and your whole family’s wellbeing, and what educational or lifestyle changes may better support your family.

A key part of this work is helping you do your own inner shift from compliance-based parenting to a more connection-based approach, so you can find solutions that are more sustainable and better suited to your child.

Together, we craft a flexible, values-aligned vision that works with your reality and family system.

STAGE 2

Integrate a practical, values-aligned plan for your family

Then we’ll turn insight into action:

  • Daily rhythms and routines that support regulation instead of constant battles.

  • Strategies for meeting your child’s needs without sacrificing your own in the process.

  • Clear next steps for handling your family’s specific struggles.

Together we create a grounded plan, and you’ll have ongoing guidance and support as you put it into practice and adjust it based on your family’s real, lived experience.

STAGE 3

Outcomes we’ll work towards together.

A calmer, more regulated family life

Learn to embody calm so that you can respond intentionally and be the parent your child needs even when they have intense emotions and unpredictable behaviors. Create a home life where big feelings don’t always turn into big explosions and everyone recovers more quickly after hard moments.

Stronger, more connected relationships

Shift from constant correction and conflict to more collaboration, play, and genuine enjoyment of your ND kid, which boosts everyone’s sense of safety and self‑esteem.

Routines and expectations that actually fit your family

Shape your daily life around your child’s strengths, needs and nervous system to reduce battles and increase ease. Get clear on your values and let them guide you in your decisions around lifestyle, education and behavior.

My Approach

Unlike traditional behavioral approaches that focus on compliance and “fixing” behavior to match neurotypical norms, my coaching centers connection over compliance and co-regulation over control.

I believe you are the expert on your child. My job is to help you decode your child’s nervous system, understand their needs and strengths, and build a personalized family plan that supports regulation, preserves authenticity, and helps your child thrive long term.

I’m not here to fix your child. I’m here to support you in creating a life, education, and family rhythm that actually honors who your child is and what they need.

What’s Included in your coaching program?

What parents who’ve worked with me are saying…

  • Rachel C. (Texas, son with ADHD)

“These last few months working with Leora have changed my life in ways 10+ years of therapy never did. I am so grateful for the decision I made to invest in coaching and change my and my family’s life.”

  • Steph K. (Vermont, daughter with severe anxiety)

“I can now be with my kids and enjoy their laughter and play, even when its loud and messy. Now I’m able to confidently show up and live each moment; and I’ve found that the challenges are not as large, not as often, not as consuming; and the joys and ease keep increasing!”

  • Katie H. (NYC daughter with ADHD)

“Before working with Leora, my daughter’s anxiety made even leaving the apartment a struggle. Through working together, I learned to trust my instincts, see my daughter for who she really is, and parent the child I have — not who others think she should be. We’re now deeply connected, she’s braver and more flexible, and one night she turned to me and said, ‘You get me.’ It was the greatest feeling and one of the best parenting moments of my life.”
